This is a project I made during my first weeks after admitting myself to rehab. I aimed to convey the initial feelings of vulnerability, shame, failure, and pain. The work doubles as a flag and a blanket, reflecting the need for extreme self-exposure and honesty required by the programme, while also expressing the innate desire to hide and soothe oneself through any means possible.
